Blog Journal #6

Using Diigo to start was very confusing for me considering that I have never used it before. But once I started to get the hang of it and it was explained to me, I found that it was pretty straight forward and easy. I like that you can add tags so that it is easy for others to find posts related to that topic. I didn’t like how many steps that there were to it for new users it can be confusing, but once you get it started it gets easier.

I love that we get to blog in this class, although we are told what to write about, I’m glad that we get to do it. I’ve wanted to blog before but never actually found the time to start one, but now that I have one made, I plan on using it more after this class. I like that we get to comment on other peoples posts to and get to be interactive. I think if I had to pick one thing, I don’t like about blogging it would be that we get the topics to write about, but it makes sense for the class. So far, I have learned how to form and organize my blog posts.

A tool that I would use in my classroom for teaching would be Weebly. This 2.0 web tool, Weebly, is great to have the students express themselves while making a website that they enjoy. Weebly is website you can use to make a website for yourself, a business, or any other reasons. I feel like Weebly is a great tool that can help student evolve into using technology.
