Blog Journal #9

Personally my experiences in EME2040 have been very informative and useful for my future career in teaching. I was a flex student, some days I was in person while others I was online. I liked the class being flex, it allowed me to take notes on days I was online and ask questions on days I was in person. There wasn't much that I disliked about the course other then I would've liked her to have created some of the projects with us in class instead of them already being completed. To help improve my classroom experience as a teacher I will do some of the activities with my students as well. 

OER resources are different form other resources because they are licensed. These resources are learning and teaching materials available online for anyone to use. Not only are they available to use but also share and repurpose. Some of the resources can be the textbook or games and videos.

A new skill that I gained from working on Assignment 4: PowerPoint for Information Dissemination was being able to record over a PowerPoint. I liked that I was able to learn a new skill that I will be able to use in my future classroom. One thing I didn't like was speaking on recording but that is just because I'd rather talk in person. One thing I can do next time to improve my assignment would be to record on each slide instead of making it one recording.
